Small seaside village that owes much of the notoriety of Punta Secca is due to the fiction "The Montalbano Commissioner" who found home in the seaside village of Santa Croce Camerina. Punta Secca is in fact shot many scenes of the fiction inspired by the novels of Camilleri and focused on the investigations of the famous Commissioner.
